After conquering the world with their two previous albums “World Machine” and “ Running in the Family”, Level 42 allowed themselves to explore a bit deeper. Textured, layered, contemplative soundscapes and odyssey’s are words that describe the songs on this album. All of the songs on Staring At The Sun will take you back to that feeling of spending the last days of Summer, in a good way. I recommend every album by Level 42. Wish I would have gotten into them more thoroughly during the 80’s and 90’s. Catching up with them today is quite the enjoyable tonic I need in my life. eBay did an outstanding job in every way. Thanks for having this cd available!

Another great album by one of the best jazz fusion pop bands of the 1980's, 1990's into the new Millenium. I have never heard a song written and played by them that I did not like. Each artist is fantastically talented and when they play live they command all your attention.
