One of the best albums I've ever heard; and I've heard thousands. Soulful, creative, original, inspired, fiery, charismatic, soothing, and masterful playing from the master of Rock/Soul/R&B/Blues guitar, Jimi Hendrix. On this recording for the Radio One program at England's BBC, still in the early stage of his career, Jimi was at the top of his game. The Jazz-influenced Mitch Mitchell on drums is phenomenal; and Noel Redding adds just the right counterbalance of Rock on electric bass. Jimi's voice is at it's most musical and evocative. Absolutely superb.
Wonderful Live Hendrix during his time in London and recorded the BBC Playhouse Programs. RADIO ONE is an important addition to a Hendrix Fan's Collection!

This is the best Hendrix album period.I never really liked any of the three studio albums because jimi was kinda weak as a song writer. His live stuff was completely overindulgent and unfocused. But these recordings were when Jimi was at his apex,he was still trying to prove himself within certain constraints.A perfect blend of Jimi live and studio put together. An excellent and accururate portrayal of the artist and his amazing skills.
Jimi Hendrix was,is and will be beyond the test of time.excellent recordings ,excellent purchase through EBAY,highly recommended worldwide.
classic jimi album. in my opinion has the best song ever recorded by him. the version of hear my train a comin on this is unbelievable. best ever!
