I, myself, bought this product as an addition to my "Cure" collection, being that this is one of my absolute favorites off of "Disintegration". But here's the nitty-gritty, so to speak: Fascination Street is a phenomenal track off of Disintegration. However, in the US, it was intended to be "Lullaby" but as it was 1989 and the Cure hadn't truly made it as big as they are now, it was refused as a choice for the first single to be released in the US. This single also includes "Out of Mind" and "Babble" which are lesser known. The sound of "Fascination Street" is truly one of my absolute favorites. The opneing sound is much like "swamp music" or noise and reminds you much of the Louisiana sound. Robert Smith's vocals are much more presentable instead of being background noise and much more enthusiastic to say the least. For me, being a lover of Disintegration is enough for me to have purchased this single, but my love for it is furthered by it's rather precocious sound. You should buy it if you're collecting, but not if you don't truly appreciate it's worth.Read full review
