Now, im not even going to bother going into specifics - this game is too mature and, I suppose, weird to really explain... or to at least for me to be bothered explaining. If you want to know what the professionals think (ie. not other guy)how about these comments from gamespot.com: The Good: Mind-melting plot and story sequences will make you talk; impressively stylized presentation; lengthy adventure offers added replay value; outstanding soundtrack. The Bad: Mature-themed content sometimes feels forced ; simplistic action and puzzle-solving can get tedious; some noticeable shortcomings in an otherwise-great presentation. score: 8.3/10 (http://au.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/killer7/review.html) IGN.com: 8.1/10 http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/562551.asp?q=killer%207 Gamerankings.com, which gives its scores as an average of the other major revierers (they don't make their own reviews) shows that from 10 of the most well known reviewers, it has an average rating of 77/100. Also keep in mind that, like other idiot, there were 3 of the 10 that gave the game crap scores based on its simple outward appearance - gamespy a 2.5/5, electronic gaming monthly a 5.5/10 and game revolution a C-. Admittedly, none of these three sites are particularly well known to possess highly credible video game reviews. All other 7 or the reviewers gave the game 7/10 or above, with 3 of those 7 giving it above 8.0. The simple message here: don't judge a book (game) by it's cover. If you're open-minded to political themes, and are interested in a fantastic experience that could best be described as an interactive film, then by all means I urge you to try this game. Just keep in mind that it is quite weird, explicit, and very 'Japanese'.Read full review
This game isn't for everyone, but if you think it could be for you, I urge you to buy it. The control scheme isn't intuitive at all, and you could easily play through the entire game without a clue to what's going on. And that's how it's supposed to be. But if you're willing to muddle through the first hour of playing, you've got a gem of a game to play with. You're immersed into a gritty world of cel shaded graphics, voilence, and enemies from another realm entirely. A blast to play, and definately worth playing many times over. Oh, and as a warning, Killer 7 is truly intended for a mature audience, with very strong violence, language, and underlying messages.
Game has a great vibe and presentation is off the charts and also has great retro feel and the gameplay is sort of loose but still good and it does a GameCube Justice cuz the PS2 version was horrible

First, you should know this game has very mature themes. This includes strong language and sexual references. Contrary to other reviews regarding this game, I found the control mechanics are not at all difficult...just the standard 5 to 10 minute learning curve you experieince with any new game. In fact, I found the control layout to be very similar to Resident Evil 4 for the Game Cube. This game is so wonderfully unique I'm not sure where to begin. First the graphics. While I'm not a big fan of cell shaded formats, this is the perfect choice for such a surreal game. It sets the stage for total emersion. This is further complimented by the mechanical gibberish most of the non-playable characters speak. The game is simple: Kill the menancing, creatively designed bad guys (called Smiles) while working through levels solving simple problems to progress. You make use of seven different characters with various special skills and abilities. During your gameplay, should you be skilled enough to kill a "Smile" in one well placed shot, you will be rewarded with the coolest, stylized graphics I've seen. The Boss Fights at the end of levels are fun and challenging. They include: Two deceased Japanese men throwing brains at you, a duel with anime characters dress like the Power Rangers, and shooting four faces protruding from the back of an angel (just to name a few). There's plenty of save rooms, you never run out of ammo - although you must reload, and characters' lives may be revived. If you are a fan of unusual games, this one cannot be missedRead full review
Heard it was a great game so I thought I'd give it a shot. The game style is very unique and the controls are very different but you get used to it very quickly. It is an on rails game, meaning you move a preset path, but don't let that discourage you there is still a lot you have to do in the game such as explore, puzzle solve and backtrack, don't think that its just a shooter with a start and finish with non stop moving because it isn't. A warning, it is not mentioned in most descriptions or in the game but in my opinion the game shouldn't be rated M because of the blood, sex, profanity, etc. but for the theme and story. Most people can play the game without trying to understand the story because they just want to play the game, but if you do try to understand the story you are in for a long haul. Although fictional the game takes historical events and dates and connects them with the story. Also there are symbolisms, and metaphores in this game that not even a typical 20 year old would understand or grasp, this is stuff that an experienced person in their 40s or at least 30 would undersand on the first run. Theres a lot of hidden and subtle additions in the game that most gamers will not understand or care to.Read full review
This game is awesome! Once you learn the quirky way the game is controlled, a great game emerges, in the line of Resident Evil 4. The story is engrossing, but strange and violent There isn't the wide variety of gameplay there was in RE4, but the combat is cool, and using the various personalities to get through the adventure is entertaining. It's not for everyone. If you want to roam at will, and don't want to vary from conventional gameplay, you'll probably hate it.
The box is in good condition and the game work really well

This game is another classic from Capcom who made other great classic hits like Resident Evil the series, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Breath of Fire and other hits. This game is very confusing to play for the first time, u might even say its crap, but it is a VERY AWESOME game if u give it time and play it through u will understand what it is all about. It’s not really a game in my opinion, it more like a movie/game and arthouse mix together with hard-boil cell-shaded comic style FMV. But u got to play it more then once to understand this game. I would recommend buying one on the CUBE then the PS2 Version. Give it a chance and see for yourself that it’s another great classic game from Capcom. neo-geo9
