These cables introduced no noise or tonal degradation to my signal chain. Low-profile metal (and assumedly soldered) connectors for long life and reduced space on your pedalboard. Both the cable itself and the connectors appear to be high quality and should last a good long time if taken care of properly.
I do have concerns about how to repair the cables if they become damaged. The connectors don't appear to have any way to open them up to resolder a connection if necessary (I could be wrong, but there is no clear way that I can see). At this price though it may just be cheaper to buy more cables that to go through the hassle of trying to replace them. Maybe that is Kirlin's end game to begin with, to get you spend more money on their products?
The one thing I wish was different is that I wish the cable itself was "flat" patch cable like the Ernie Ball patch Cables.
If Kirlin could put these connectors on quality "Flat" patch cable while keeping the prices low like this I think they would dominate the market. I know I would replace ALL my cables on all 3 of my boards with them if Kirlin did this!!!
I will be buying more, and in different sizes and I definitely recommend these cables.
