Product Information
Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck star in this unusual animated feature from that master director of the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes, Chuck Jones. The famous pair plays dueling pianists, clad in white tuxedos, who romp through a hysterical, lively interpretation of Camille Saint-Saens's "Carnival of the Animals." It's a showcase for music and poetry, as the classical overtures give eventual way to animal "actors" that interpret lyrics taken from the work of the great comic poet Ogden Nash. In other words, it's a high-minded cultural evening that Mr. Jones has in store for his audience, but it is very much a hilarious and irreverent one as well. Adults will enjoy the whimsical interpretations of Nash's poetry--and the wildly inventive interpretation of the Saint-Saens score--while the children in the audience will roar to Bugs and Daffy letting fly at each other with Bugs's usual nonchalance and Daffy's fuming, smoke-out-of-the-ears frustration.Product Identifiers
