The Greatest Quartet
The Statler Brothers Farewell Concert was absolutely fabulous. They are true artists in every sense of the word. In my opinion, they are the greatest quartet in the world and this DVD proves it. My Husband and I have watched this at least 50 times and I cry every time. I even purchased one for my Mother-In-Law and she Loves it as much as we do! The characters are fascinating and their harmony is fabulous. This concert is entertaining, moving, funny, spiritual and will leave you wanting more! I loved every moment. They sing old songs and some Gospel which is my favorite. And, of course, there are "stories". They have always been my favorite group and this concert proves why. Mezmerizing
I had taped the concert from Gaither and then I bought this version. I was totally flaberghasted at the difference. This concert version had over 30 minutes more songs and entertainment. I personally don't think the Statlers could sing a bad song. This dvd was simply fantastic. Hope I don't wear it out someway by playing it so often.
