  • A very thoroughly written and well presented document to improve anyones running

    A quick overview. - I am not a pro or member of a running club nor do I idolize any runner. I pick up tips here and there and experiment, much to my own detriment. That said, I delved into this book as a lone runner, looking for the hows and whys. He makes it clear that to become a runner, your either born with it and you know it or your like the rest of us and must work hard and carefully, patiently work towards your goals. This book is work, the plans are solid and it will take months to become a decent runner. His plan to take you from a couch potato to a marathon runner will take a year or more, but it will greatly reduce injury. Unlike myself who pushes too hard too soon and ends up in the doctors office. I highly recommend this book, its the gold standard of running programs.
