I enjoyed reading this book. I recognized the names of two Border Patrol Agents (one is my Compadre) and of the BLM Officer in the book. I was stationed at the Tacna Border Patrol Station from June 1985 until December 1988. On my second or third day of work after graduating from the Border Patrol (BP) Academy in Glynco, GA, we picked up three dead women and two children in the desert between Tacna and the Mohawk Mountains and several others dead ones during my time there. Welcome to Tacna and to death in the hot and unforgiving desert. We all tried our best to save them. May all they RIP. 🙏🏾 David O. Ramirez U.S. Border Patrol Class 173rd
