Seems to have more chain speed that black and decker 20v saw. I bought it to use to trim trees from the bucket truck I own . The black and decker 20v saw works extremely well for that so I bought a craftsman being I already have tons of 20v craftsman tools.Haven’t used it yet so I can’t give a real review

Was very skeptical when purchasing this product I have a lot of battery operated craftsman tools and did not think a saw would last long one a battery. I was surprised. I do use the bigger 8 ah battery, but still. It does not drain a battery as fast as one would think. This saw is perfect for cutting small stuff. Up to 6-8” small stuff. I am very pleased with it. Lightweight Easy to use

Light weight, battery last longer than I expected, made short work of the fallen limbs. Have not yet tried it for sprucing up the treeline, but I am certain it will be terrific.
