The inverter cooling fan only runs when needed. The fan works well. The unit only got warm under load. The unit has a input and output voltage meter. The only down side is that there is no wattage (load) meter display.

I own a 2000 and 1000 watt PSW inverter and it works fine. My only real complaints are that its not UL or ETL certified and uses silly screw tight connections on the power connectors. However, I have used the 2000 watt unit running a room air conditioner pulling a max of 600 watts for nine hours this summer. I did have a fan plugged into the unit to keep it cooler but I was keeping an eye on it and feeling the case for hot spots. I think I paid something like $50 plus shipping so I cannot complain.

good price, easy to use. the terminal is designed to use cable with ring, it is hard to use cable with clamps.

I like that this inverter operates silently when it can, and only kicks the fan on when under heavy load, making heat. This saves the fan, AND the noise.

Pure Sine Wave inverter runs central vacuum where the same size inverter that wasn't pure sine wave would not run the central vacuum. Also runs the relay transfer switch without "chattering" like the nonpure sine wave inverter
