Didnt fit 2020 FE501
They listed this plate for a 2020 FE501. The package and instructions say 350/450. This is because the low bend of the 501 head pipe covers the new single mounting bolt. Instructions tell you to take the head pipe off for installation on the 350/450. On the 501, you will have to remove the header everytime you want to remove the skid plate to change oil or do simple maintenanceor cleaning. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you do get it mounted, you will see the linkage guard is nothing more than a splash guard for water. The guard stops right at the linkage and does not cover the bottom. Its completely useless if you ride enduro. Might look pretty on a garage queen that only goes to mx tracks on the weekends but real woods riders will be very disappointed. I returned this plate and purchased a universal bolt on linkage guard from Tusk and havent looked back.
