This book is a very pleasant, easy read, as are most of the Mrs Jeffries books. It is helpful, but not necessary, to be somewhat familiar with the characters from the previous books in the Mrs Jeffries series before reading this installment, as it does come later in the series. As always, the solution of the mystery is not a let-down. I'd recommend this book to anyone.
Mrs. Jeffries, who is Inspector Witherspoon's housekeeper and the servants and their friends help the inspector solve the mystery of Michael Provast, the owner of a medical supply company is found dead, by his servants who adore him.
