I'd much prefer to shoot a fixed, but none are as accurate as field points (I've shot dozens [slick trick is the closest] and my bow is perfectly tuned). The question I have is related to the loss of kenetic energy used for deploying these huge 2" blades that are held inplace by friction (rather than rubber bands). My main concern was whether my set up (60 lb, 28.5" draw length, with FMJ 400 10.2 g) would have sufficient penetration on a bad shot. My question was answered this year when I spined a 190 lb dressed buck at 30 yards. To my surprise, the arrow had enough kenetic energy after impact to severe the spine. The answer to the question I could not find online, I found through my own experience. I shot a total of 5 deer this year with this broadhead and all died within 40 yds of being hit. I had similar results last year. I'm still looking for an excuse to use fixed, but I feel a lot less anxious now having seen what this broadhead will do. Read full review

Trying to stupidly cut costs I ordered these and can't possibly express my disappointment. Poorly made and I will not use for anything other than recreational rat hunting or something. Lesson learned, buy cheap, get cheap. Only rated 1 star because there was no option for "0".

I harvested 5 deer this past season with this broadhead and not all the hits were good. However, no deer went more than 50 yards. The true test for me came when I accidentially spined a big buck (dressed 190) at 30 yards pulling 60 pounds with 28.5 draw length. Yes, it broke the spine. Until that shoot, I always questioned whether I'd get the kenetic energy needed for great penetration with a mechanical; particularly when friction (instead of rubber bands) held the blades intact during flight. That shot answered that questions.

Been using these for years. I also shoot them from my crossbow. They say not to. But have never had a problem. It says up to 350fps. They fly true and make a big hole.

I haven't actually used the broadheads, but I have had the same broadheads in the past and they work great.

These were exactly what I was looking for....a rear-deploying mechanical with no o-rings or bands to mess with and a large cutting surface. They also fly like field tips. These are the perfect broadhead.

These work just as well as the name brand ones.

very good product. Used one last weekend to take a nice eight point buck. He only ran 15 yards and went down.

These are the best broad heads by far. I have bow hunted for about 25 years and nothing that I have used drops them as quick as they do. Great product
