Best small appliance, it is all you need to make FLOUR Tortillas that are thin, round and hot off the griddle.
This is the most amazing tortilla maker I have ever seen. I recommend to anybody who enjoy eating flour tortillas. I wish I had bought it a long time ago. Every time I go to the Dollar General Store, I head for the section which sells 10 inch flour tortillas, but unfortunately because of the Covid-19, it has been nearly impossible to buy tortillas of any size. One of our grocery stores has that size but the quality is not exactly what I would buy under normal circumstances. The tortillas that you can make using this tortilla press will look like the ones you'd buy from the store, nice, even and round and not like "granny underwear" that mine would look if I was rolling out the dough. lol Check out videos on youtube on how to make the best tortillas you have ever seen. Note that some people use different recipes, try several and see what you like the best. FYI, do not use this appliance for corn tortillas, UNLESS you use it COLD, UPLUGGED and between two pieces of plastic. i.g. ziplock bags that have been cut out. We followed the recipe that came with the unit. We did several attempts using different settings on the machine. Didn't brown the flour tortillas. As for the corn tortillas we also used the different settings on the machine. The also came out hard and crispy.
