I remember when these Dell Latitude D-630's hit the commercial market. They were from Dell's Leasing Department. The cool thing that the Dell Engineers ended up doing was the BIOS update that allowed you to max out the memory to 8GB. Although Dell did re-lease a good deal of these Notebooks, what was left was then sold in the commercial market. I bought 2 or 3 back in 2012 and 2 of the 3 I still have. One I gave away to a family low on funds as a freebee just in case one of their children needed one. The last one I have got completely refurbished. All new body parts, screen, Lid & so on, it looks like a Brand New Dell D-630 Notebook. That's ho I'll sell it. But getting a god Motherboard is a must. Bought this board while ago and found finally time to replace this with my dying Nvidia Quadro board (no diplay on LCD). Dell really thinks repair and reusability. Installation were very easy, dyi job took about 1h. There were only to check right crew length places of chassis. If you are DYI repairer and your D630 laptop suffers Nvidia 'no video on LCD display' then I woud highly buy this replacement board. Great value and no soldering reguired.
