I installed a larger model just like this in my home about 15 years ago. It keeps pressures equalized, takes less time to get hot water and allows any specific fixture to be isolated. I really like it. This smaller model is being used to test appliances. I have multiple connectors piped to it so I can run water to most any type device with the right fitting. It saves me lots of time.

Great product - great outcome.
I just finished doing a whole-house re-pipe to replace the original 60 year-old galvanized plumbing with PEX and this manifold is a key part of the new design. No complaints about the quality and I am thinking it will have a long and happy service life. Using a manifold-centric design allowed me to stage the project and keep the household running while the project was underway. The first day I ran the lines from the service entrance and water heater to the manifold and then I just worked fixture by fixture until they were all plumbed; as each was completed, it could be turned on at the manifold and I could move on to the next one. Similarly, should I need to replace a fixture in the future, that circuit can be turned off at the manifold while the rest of the house remains up and running.

Works great. Just follow the instructions and don't over tighten, it is high quality plastic. Best part once you get the main plumbed you can work on the rest of the house when you want to.
