    Good quality as expected

The magazines perform as I expected. They feed well, spring tension at full load is manageable, floor plate holds tightly, follower does not bind, sight windows are properly spaced for proper load indication and the magazines are inserted easily and latch properly and safely. Usual Ruger quality, no complaints for now. Hoping that they last longer than me. As far as problems feeding these in, it seems to be usual Ruger problem with the magazine catch. It is supposed to be ramped on the bottom so that the magazine can easily push past it when going it. The top is supposed to have an edge to catch the magazine and not allow it to come out. Well, the Ruger magazine catch has an edge that protrudes slightly into the magwell and allows magazines to catch on it. It takes maybe 10 minutes to disassemble the li'l .380, pull the mag catch out and file the bottom edge down to a ramped shape. Cheap products require such TLC to make them into good products. But once the magazine catch is fixed, my .380 will easily feed (and retain) any magazine, even off-brands. Happy bullseyes!

Can't be inserted without pressing the magazine release button

As stated in the title, these magazines cannot be inserted without pressing the magazine release button first. The magazine slides in about half way then catches and will not travel any farther until the magazine release button is pressed, then it can positively lock in place with a push from the palm of your hand. The original magazine that shipped with the firearm never had that problem. I tried pushing hard when I first tried inserting these and now the factory magazine that came with it does not slide in easily anymore, though the factory magazine still does not require the magazine release button to be depressed for insertion. Will not use these for carry but will use them at the range so I don't have to spend so much time loading magazines. PRODUCT NOT RECOMMENDED.

  • Keep Ruger With Ruger And So On

Really not much to say because it’s a Ruger factory magazine. I would never buy anything other than the same brand as the firearm. When dealing with firearms it’s too serious to substitute for original equipment no matter how much cheaper or even how much an aftermarket manufacturer claims flawless performance. I am completely satisfied with this product.

  • Italian OEM magazines are great!

Excellent quality, excellent value, works exactly the same as the single magazine supplied with the LCP 2. I prefer the extension type bottom but both are supplied for your preference.

  • Good deal

I took these to the range along with my brand new LCP II. I can't tell which one came with the gun from the two in this pack. They are factory new. Slide locks open after the last round.

  • High quality and great pricing.

New OEM magazines for Ruger LCP II sub compact pistol. Made in Italy, as are magazines for many other brands & models. Excellent quality and functionality. Great unit pricing (2 pack) when compared to individual magazine purchase. I highly recommend purchasing the 2 pack versus individual. Extra magazines are always handy.

  • Good Quality

I bought them because the gun only brings one clip, I have a large hand, these clips even with the finger rest are too small for an average man's hand, the purpose of the purchase is to put a mag extension made by HYVE TECHNOLOGIES that adds 2 rounds to the mag converting it into an 8 round mag, making the gun easier to grasp with the extension. • Very fast shipping and a great value to boot!

Yes, genuine Ruger LCP II magazines made in the USA. Note: Some of the same Ruger magazines are marked "Made in Italy". Do not be dismayed! The Italian magazines are most certainly made by Mec-Gar and are of outstanding quality. Ruger's guns themselves are indeed made in the USA, but they have had magazines made in Italy. The Italian magazines are truly an outstanding well made product as well. I have a Ruger P95 that I am using Mec-Gar 17 rd. magazines, that work flawlessly.

  • I’m happy with these magazines.

Great mags! They have the same design as the one that came with the gun, but seem to be of better quality. These mags are printed as made in Italy, have no visible weld seams on the back, and they have a slightly better spring. The mag that was included with the gun is printed as made in the USA, has a visible weld seam on the back, and the spring is a little weak and the slide would not lock back sometimes on empty mag (I stretched out the spring slightly and seems to be better for now)

  • Made in Italy

This (2) pack lcp2 magazines was value priced. The (2) magazines look identical in every fashion to the factory mag which comes with the firearm. Cartridges load very easy and just like the O.E.M. It is a Ruger OEM mag 2 pack, however, they are made in Italy, unlike the mag which came with the firearm; made in U.S.A. However they do not snap into the firearm easily , like the one it came with. The magazines do not seat well. Maybe, after time, they will snap and lock into the firearm easier. That is why i give this product 4 star instead of 5.
