The title says it all: it's a big book with lots of usable drawing instructions in every category.
This is the first drawing instruction book that I have found useful, with practical and usable tips for someone who is trying to teach themselves to draw. Until I found this book, I assumed that drawing was one of those activities that a person had to be born able to do. With Hammond's instructions, it has become possible to actually draw a recognizable image, and even try to extend beyond her instructions.
