It works but not great.
The shell case is pretty straight forward to assemble, your just taking the guts from your old case and putting them in the new one. I recommended this product because its far far cheaper than replacing with a factory fob and I said it was a good value because what do you want for around 15 bucks. That said, the problems I had was the rear cover that came with the case would not snap into place, but if I took the cover from my original factory fob it went right on, lucky me it was still usable. Also, the buttons for the trunk and panic alarm seem to be stiff and harder to push than the lock, unlock and engine start. This is not a huge problem for me because this is only a back up fob and I never use the panic button plus there are trunk buttons at the rear of the car and inside. I don't regret buying the case but was a little disappointed. It's a shame Lincoln does not sell replacement cases.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solid replacement for OEM fob shell
Shell quality is good - a bit slick. Pads for the buttons are a bit thinner, and the click from the buttons feel cheap. Overall, really well put together (read: will hold up well in your pocket/bag/backpack). Blank key is exactly the same as stock key. Batteries fit snuggly and don't rattle. Great replacement product.
I purchased this product after the clamps that connect my fob to the hook broke. I decided on keeping the original Lincoln casing and only used this product to replace the inner mechanism that broke. Works, saves money from OEM remote
Works, saved me a bunch over buying a new remote. The rink it comes with is a joke, very small, but I didn't buy it for that.
