The pump is sturdy, works well, and doesn't really need the lever that locks it on the valve (just wrap you thumb over the tire to hold the pump in place). Yet to make the pump compress enough to fit on the frame, the top of the pump must be twisted to the lower pressure setting. That's definitely not a major effort, but it's an annoying step that must be remembered or the pump won't fit. And, since there's no mention of that on the packaging, you might be tempted to return the pump when (if you haven't changed the setting) you can't get it on the bike frame.

I bought this one because it is a fame mounted pump that fits my bicycle. My first Zefal one got stolenand I replaced it with another lesser quality pump that broke the Presta valves on my bike. My new Zefal works much better than the original one I had for 30 years.

I never ride without a pump. I thought I lost my old one, so I bought this as a replacement. A friend found my old one on the road, but the Zefal is so much nicer, I'm saving my old one for a spare. Well-made, dual pressure range, fits schrader or presto, works like a champ. Just be sure to order the right length for your frame.
