The Cygolite Dash Pro is very good and easy to use bright enough however. I have a problem with the mounting rubber on both the HotRod 50 and Cygolite Dash Pro. It has like a rubber mount that you have to pull tight to mount it and if you pull too tight it'll rip no doubt. also when riding hard the light slips down on the bar and i have to adjust it up because the light ends up shining on my wheel. Other than that great light and pretty good cycle life easy to charge and so on... The reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the mounting rubber...

This is an OK lights at that could definitely use some modifications. A few of these modifications should include but not limited to. An alternative way to mount the tail light besides a seat post as this means is not always available on every bike and keeps it aiming at the tire and ground on bikes with dual suspension. A more secure mount for the front headlight has bumps in the road or on trail keep moving it and rubber band that is built into it will break if you try to put it on excessively tight. Oh they should include either a charging cord with two micro USB tips to charge both lights at the same time or give you to court for the price that you pay you would expect better on all these points. I have bought two of these light such and have to work out and manufacture alternative mounting especially for the rear one as all my families bikes have a dual suspension and they are mountain bikes so the light is either aimed at the tire and ground or up in the air at work can blind people if mounted to part of the rear frame triangle instead of the seatpost. The lighting is good for both the headlight and The tail light. However if you're on in extremely dark road or trail and need to use the higher settings the lights goes Dead sooner than what the manufacturer's package states. Therefore possibly leaving you stranded with no light on the dark part of a trail or Road.Read full review

Dash Pro 600 is excellent with long battery life and solid working record with me. The Hot Rod 50 light is not up to my expectations/needs. It needs recharging needed after every ride greater than 20 miles. It simply won't last for the duration of a second ride on the same charge. I'd rather it be powered by replaceable batteries than to have to recharge it after every ride.

I usually use my lights for daylight visibility, so this has a strong set of strobes front and rear for daytime and night time visibility. The front light also has good light for a moderate period in full darkness. It will work for the times I am out near dusk.

The rear light is extremely bright and the front light performs the same with a variety of flashing options. By far the cheapest price I could find online. Lightweight, portable and bright even in the daytime. I attached both lights to my road bike and the fit is snug. I used the Cyrgolite 350 and was happy with the brightness and size... no complaints. When I seen that this combo package did not cost much more and put out almost double the lumens, I was sold. Great product and quality that won't break the bank.
