Monoprice Indio classic electric strat guitar.
I bought this guitar for the price and reviews. I'm not a $1000 guitar player so I didn't need a $1000 guitar. This guitar is VERY WELL made! The only thing I would work on would be the fret board. It could use a little more love in the frets...a little rough. Also, maybe the fret board could use a little more smoothing. The finish and feel is great! The sound is very nice...no static or buzz from the tone controls or pick ups. The color..wine red..beautiful and flawless. I have 2 momnoprice guitars and both are great! Normally Nice Guitar but this one had QC issuex
I have purchased this guitar in the past and was very pleased with it. A great value for the price. This particular guitar had some QC issues I didn’t encounter before. The neck was rough to the feel, frets were very dirty, serial number & QC stickers missing, some fret sprout and the fretboard was significantly different in color than the neck even though it is maple on maple. Since I purchased this for modding, I was not too concerned about these items. If I had expected something clean out of the box, I would have probably returned it - I suspect it may have been a return. Super nice guitar with gigbag for $100. What?
I am a beginner guitar player and wanted an inexpensive but good practice guitar. Obviously, as a beginner, I am not well versed in the differences between a $100 guitar and a $1000 guitar, however, this guitar is well crafted and beautiful. It was easy to tune and sounds very good. If you wanted to upgrade components it would be easy and inexpensive to do but I am very satisfied with the way it is now. Plus it came with a gigbag!!
