  • AWFUL BOOK! Please purchase something else.

I thought this would be a nice gift and am so glad that I took the time to read what I was going to gift a child! There is a horrid story about a tiny woman finding a bone in a graveyard which she takes home. She is too tired to make soup out of the bone. Yes, soup! Not give it to her dog. SOUP to EAT from a GRAVEYARD BONE! She puts it away but is disturbed (so was I) by a ghost who wants it back. Another story is about a witch child who was not evil enough. The child I am gifting has been reading since 18 months, was into the galaxy and how many moons there are on the different planets, which were hot and which were not at TWO and I thought something normal for a 3-6 year old may be nice at 4. Now I see why he prefers Smithsonian and Discovery!
