Not bad
Everything felt solid in my hands and I was able to unpack and put together in minutes ready to go. After doing about 6 smaller tattoos and two larger ones I've noticed that the contact screw needs constant adjustments about 30 minutes into each session requiring me to stop tattooing and re-tune the machine. The ink that comes in the package is completely garbage but makes excellent practice ink on pigskin or fake skins. For the price you cannot beat it if your planning on practicing or just doing small tattoos like script. For larger tattoos that require some time the constant tuning was enough to lead me to buying a quality rotary machine that I'm using this power supply and footswitch to run. All in all it works if you can work it. Maybe upgrade the cheap plastic parts or some Teflon on the contact screw would dramatically change these machines as I said, they feel really solid in the hands and have hit really good!

Having difficulty, I think I got a lemon
There were no instructions on how to set up. Was told to Google it. Unit wouldn't vibrate needle, sent me new power unit, still doesn't work. We've communicated several times, so that's all good..I just retired and thought I'd try my luck with a starter kit. It's ok for beginners. My advice is use the ink on fake skin for practice and not on your skin because of the quality of the ink and if you can't get a quality power supply, keep the voltage of the one in this kit regulated reasonably with this in mind, the power supply is very light weight and the whole kit was about as expensive as a decent dependable power supply. For anyone who is curious, this set does not come with a case for the equipment, however, the packaging is very good to use as a kit till you can afford one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Impressive kit for the price.
I was skeptical because of the price. But I am extremely impressed with the quality and function of the machine and guns. You of coarse have to adjust them when you get them out of the box. But they work great. Ive don't three tattoos so far with the kit. The guns run smoothly, and the ink even takes pretty well. I highly recommend this kit for a beginner.
