This small size Bluetooth receiver works really well even on the other side of a wall between my kitchen and dining room. Battery life is not real long so I keep it charging all the time. If I wanted to use without constantly charging, I would buy two - they are cheap enough to have one charging while the other is in use. Hey, I did buy two - GREAT SOUND QUALITY !!!

OK, so I've been wanting to get rid of as many cables from my dash as possible, which included an aux cable for my phone and/or tablet. I bought this thinking it'd be my salvation and, in some sense, it is. It does exactly what it says, however only for a short time because the battery dies in a jiffy. So, usually there's a power cord plugged into it, which defeats its purpose. However, the set up is insanely easy, even when switching devices. The key to switching devices is shutting off the bluetooth on the first device before trying to connect the second, because this unit will only connect to one device at a time. The connection is pretty fast as well. I've had some random skipping of the track, or I should say stuttering because it doesn't skip through the song it just stops repeatedly for a split second. I'm not sure what causes this but it usually doesn't last that long. The button on the unit allows you to pause and restart any song, whether using the music app, Pandora or movies. So, again, it does what it says. The sound quality is actually pretty good. Of course the phone is within inches of the bluetooth, but I've gotten out of the car with the phone, went into a restaurant and when I returned to the car it was still connected. I'm sure but it had to either remain connected through the walls and distance, or it somehow reconnected itself without my knowing it. Usually if it disconnects I need to go back into the phone settings and reconnect it. Because it does what it says, I'd recommend it but with the caveat you consider the battery life. I did not consider this when buying but if you read this review maybe you'll benefit from it. I do like the functionality but would prefer a long battery life, obviously.Read full review

If you have a aux in on your car head unit and have bluetooth facility on your phone, ipod or mp3 player this is great for getting rid of the cord. The audio is unimpaired and sounds good. The only thing I've given four star for is that the battery could last longer and the status lights would have been better on the front. I haven't used it as a hands free with my phone as I have bluetooth built in the car

Couldn't be happier with the product. Being Bluetooth 4.2, the sound quality is fantastic. I could not tell any difference between an analog wired AUX connection and the audio coming over Bluetooth. I've had Bluetooth 3.5mm receivers before, but the audio quality suffered. Most that you find will be Bluetooth 2.1 which lacks the high data speed needed to transfer music at near CD quality. They always sounded like a low quality 96k mp3. However, THIS DEVICE is Bluetooth 4.2 (and backward compatible down to 1.1) and it sounds great. I just purchased a second one for our other vehicle.
