Smooth quiet ride at affordable price
These tires provide a smooth and relatively quiet ride. The amount of road noise that enters the cabin is minimal. When driving on basic freeway roads, the ride is smoother than most other tires. Excellent product
Of the last 10 sets I've bought for the myriad of cars I work on, at least half have been Coopers. I even had CS-5 Ultras on my Boxster that got driven year-round. Still using several sets of Coopers. For this last buy, I paid a little more than my other go-to tire, the Nokian eNTYRE. This was for long-haul highway driving a Benz, so I wanted a quality tire that was was consistent with the car's characteristics. Many competing tires are too harsh. The CS-5 Ultra is perfect for luxury performance or "touring" vehicles, and for less-premium vehicles because it will reduce the harshness of them and improving the handling at the same time. WAY better than any OE tire, so if that's your goal, better/cheaper than OE the Coopers are a big win.
