These connectors work decent. I like the multiple sizes to cover different wire gauges. They are easy to use and convenient and priced well. I personally would not use them for critical connections like on a car, but for toys or simple machines like a scooter, for sure; I say this because you have to make sure the pieces line up correctly at the splice point as the “male” portion sometimes doesn’t connect well to the “female” part and then you have no current flow. In addition, it’s an interference fit so I would think excessive vibration would cause the connection to come apart, but I suppose one could always tape or glue the plastic parts together.

I bought these to tap into my car’s speaker wires. I installed the Taps just like they’re supposed to go, but when I powered on my amp, no sound. I had a feeling it was the taps and after checking, sure enough the tap didn’t go through the jacket of the speaker wires. I ended up just cutting and splicing and it worked. Maybe the taps are for other wires. Idk if I’ll use them however since the oem car speaker wire is already thin and the wire jacket isn’t even thick. Idk, I didn’t like them.

They are weak and cheap built. Does not make good connections thus interrupting current.

Came quick. They came in quite a few in a box with 3 sizes. The medium worked for me and served a valuable purpose.
