I consider myself to be pretty informed when it comes to Tech, but I am no means Pro. I have looked around the internet I have done a little research on simular laptops in this price range. I found that this Lenovo S 145 IdeaPad has many of the features that I'm looking for in a home computer. My understanding is that Lenovo a Chinese company bought IBM which used to make the ThinkPad and the IdeaPad. Very light to carry around. It has a lot of storage at 128gb. Also a solid state drive, which I've always heard is better. It is powered by a dual-core Intel processor which is Very fast, the screen is very bright and clear, And at 15.6 in. it's certainly large enough for me. Also what I really love about it is the anti glare screen, I didn't think this to be a big deal. But when I got it, I realized how much less glare there is I was very impressed. Overall I would recommend this laptop for a home computer. The price I think being the best part of all at $350 Compared to many others out there this one really stacked up. do your own comparisons, but I'm sure as you look at top brands like Dell, and HP, this one will stack up to any of those. Like to mention that I have had multiple spinal cord surgeries and have very little feeling in my fingertips, I found the dictation apps and programs work very well with this computer, ( like this review for instance) because I have a lot of difficulty typing. Good luck with your computer shopping I hope this review helps someone like myself who is trying to navigate this. And get a really good quality computer for a good price.Read full review
