This device is not easy to use. I use the stylus and it still doesn't connect. It says the charging cord should have a button to sync, there was no button and I was unable to sync. The only good thing about this device is it looks good, but it does not work, not even the simplest of things. I asked to return this device and be refunded. I haven't heard anything,

Well, the only other pda I had was a Tungsten E, so I give you a comparison between the two. I bought an E2 because the E died all of a sudden. 1.E2 has more battery life. 2.E2's speaker is louder. 3.E2 has the 5way selection ability. 4.E2 takes some time to turn on & off than E. 5.E2 cannot wakeup & show the clock, when center is pressed, like it was in E. There are some flaws I experienced in E2 1.The find function only shows the first 8 results only. 2.2GB SD cards are unusable without the use of a software like PowerSDHC 3.Ditizier was miscaliberated & was unable to get it caliberated using the builtin one, it was caught in an endless loop. 4.Internal storage space is sometimes not enough to hold all the applications. 5.RescoBackup caused the device to freeze when resetting. 6.Sometimes the 5way navigation selection is a headache. But overall it was quite a pleasant device. I used it to listen to music, watch pictures, keep lists & databases, browse lighter websites, check wheather & sometimes check emails, read pdfs & text files, as a universal phonebook holding all the telephone numbers used at home, as an infra red remote control, a reminder of events & birthdays, as a clock, a conuntdown timer, a note taker etc...Read full review
I originally purchased this brand and model because it was capable of running a particuler program that I use as a service tech working on hvac. But once I receieved it, I found a long list of other uses. I was able to upload a rather long contacts list, with even more information than my cell phone was capable of holding, as well as having a very useful calculator. The battery life had a reputation as being able to hold a good charge, and believe me, the reputation is valid! It has software which you puload onto your computer, so that you can sync your information on both your computer as well as on the Tungsten, about as easily as it can be. Now I will say that the only disappointment I have had in it is that it will only take a 1 mb. SD card. I read that there is one brand that it MIGHT accept, but I have decided that the 1 mb. worked for what I needed, which was to hold pictures of some of the work I had done to show potential customers, so that they could get a better idea of the work I did. So as far as ease of use, I would give teh Tungsten a solid 5. Input and upload ease of use, again a solid 5. The speaker on it is not very big, but it is audible enough for sensible use, so when I am listening to my music I can hear it fine (you can also get the earbuds) so again I will go with a 4 1/2 to a 5. Battery life is definately a 5+. So the main drawbacks would be the limit of software updates and the reduced SD card abilities, bringing it down to 4 out of 5 rating. Would I buy another one? LOL I already have!Read full review
It's like a Palm Tungsten, same O. S. and it is very easy send data from Tungsten to TX. But this is good: TX has a larger display, orientable, and this is very usuful! From several years Palm are not yet in use, I know this; so now all people use smatphones and nobody remembers these old units. But for me, that have all my data in an old Palm Tungsten, is a good thing to use yet! (Excuse my poor english, I am a 64 age italian... Thank you)
