simple and easy
For single stage press users makes setting up correct die position very easy and precise. If a change is needed just loosen lock nut make change re tighten lock nut and re insert die into press and continue reloading. With these bushings makes changing the dies to be used in the correct sequence quick and easy just screw in pull handle take out put in next one with no concerns about any die in sequence settings changing as they are switched in use. A necessary tool in my book!
I reload 45 ACP, 38 spl,, Winchester 243 and 40 cal. I love the bushings. I just adjust the appropriate die in the bushing, use them when needed and I don't have to worry about readjusting the die every time I have to change from one caliber to another. It saves me a bundle of time, a whole lot of angst and provides reliability and uniformity re: the reload of each caliber's respective rounds. Must Have....
Great item. Makes changing reloading dies Sooooooooooo much easier. Set the die up one time and them just remove the whole thing with the bushing. Easy in, easy out. Only down side is the dies don't fit the boxes as well with the bushings. At least with Lee dies. Small price to pay for the convenience of using the bushings. If you're using the Breech Lock Press you're wasting YOUR TIME without these

LEE Quick Change Busings
I use the LEE Deluxe Carbide 4 die sets to reload my handgun ammo. By putting one of these bushings on each die and setting it and leaving it on speeds up the whole process, because the next time I want to reload some of this same caliber all I have to do is put the die in and it's ready to go. Typical Lee High Quality and Affordability
I have been using Lee products for more than 30 years now, and find them both top quality and affordable. My original loading press was a Lee Challenger I bought from MidwayUSA in 1991. I got many, many years of hard use out of it loading .38 spl, .45acp, .45 LC, 9mm, .308, ,22-250, 7x57mm, and .223 match. I have since replaced the old Challenger press with the newer Breech Lock version, and have been very impressed with the ability to quickly change dies, and calibers, without having to readjust them each time. These factory bushings are well crafted and offer precise alignment when I change dies. My current project is a new Remington 700 in .243 Winchester, and I found that I needed to use a factory crimp die to maintain a secure and consistent bullet crimp in the magazine of my rifle. These bushings allow me to make quick changes back and forth between the seating die and the factory crimp die. They do make all of the difference in high quality loading/re-loading operations, and simplify caliber changes. I highly recommend the breech lock version of the Lee presses over the non breech lock presses, even if you don't load multiple calibers.

Bushings save time.
