This replacement fan/light controller is the exact part that I removed. It was a perfect fit and the connector was identical as well. The only twist is that a couple of wires were in a different place in the connector. One was the antenna for the remote which has no connection on the other side of the plug so I left it as is. The other was the wires back to the fan from the remote controller. I could not reposition the pins in the connector so had to splice around the connector. No big deal. It works like new again!

Initially I was concerned b/c after installing, it still didn't seem to work. Long story shore, Fans Unlimited worked with me to isolate the issue and the problem was with the handheld transmitter. Fans Unlimited CSR, Xochi Cleminson, sorted it out, determined the correct number for the new remote controller I needed and provided me the number to order. Saved me $80 some dollars over the alternative of having to order an new kit altogether. It's my third or 4th order from these folks but the first I've needed such intervention and I couldn't be happier with the way they solved my problem and got me up and running. I'll definitely buy here again.
