Worth Every Penny!
After 40 years in the metal detecting hobby, I primarily used two other brands. After experiencing lackluster performance, I started paying more attention to what others were using, and paying more attention to online reviews. So I bought the Minelab Equinox 800. Right out of the box, it is an easy to use machine. When it finds a target, that target is right where the detector indicates, location and depth. My most recent [other brand] detector was a big fail in that respect --and it cost MORE than the "NOX800"!

My Garrett was good, this Minelab is better!
I was satisfied with my Garrett and loved it until the buttons started getting screwy. Didn't want to turn on or off unless you pressed the buttons over and over, same with the pinpoint and discrimination button. Bought this Minelab and it is a whole new level and doesn't disappoint! Went out in my back yard which I've hunted a hundred times and found a silver ring in about 20 minutes!!! I didn't even know what I was doing at that point, it was my first time using it. Keep finding things where I've hunted before. A silver beast for sure!

Best detector ever
I've been detecting for a long time now. I decided to buy the Equnox 800 with just quarters I picked for the past year. Itnwas the best decision I've made in a while. The first time out I went to a local park that had been detected hundreds of times just to learn how to use it. I wasn't expecting to find anything what so ever. After about an hour on the soccer field I got a nice high tone. I dug down about 11 inches and BAM! A 1939 walking liberty half dollar in absolute great condition. This machine will snif out what others can't find.

HAPPY SURPRISE /Gold & Silver
Ive been a treasure hunter for many years and like anything in life there is always room to learn more and ~serious detecting~ helped me pick out an amazing machine, the Equanox 800 witch worked so much better than my Garret ATX for the grounds I was hunting in, dont get me wrong the Garrett ATX is a super amazing machine and definitely works as advertised and there is no ground it cant detect in with amazing accuracy. But for me and the Equanox makes much more sense for the places I hunt in,so im super thankful that ~ serious detecting ~ pointed me to the right detector for me witch in this case was the Equanox 800 such an amazing machine and for a very good price in comparison to other high end detectors.. my second day out with the Equanox 800 I found a .80 gram piece of 20k gold piece! And 4 silver coins! Tested with my Minelab alloy reader. thanks again ~serious detecting ~ you guys are amazing. Oh and the fact that I received my Equanox 800 literally 2 days after I ordered it was amazing! Super lightning speed shipping! ! I will 100% shop at ~serious detecting~ again...! Read full review
