Somewhat misleading.
The story is interesting, but slow at times. The dialogue is hard to follow also at times, but the scenery is spectacular. I would definitely recommend this film to someone who loves old movies. The undercurrent of reincarnation is creative. I suggest that the viewer read the Criterion analysis of the film before watching the movie.
