I have a few different Holosun red dot optics and have no desire to search for a different brand. Solid, reliable, clean picture, sharp contrast, long battery life, and always holds a zero. I can't find any actual faults in my experience.

You cant beat a rugged, solar and battery powered red dot sight. I have 2 holosun 507C's. One on my .45 1911 and one on my 10mm 1911. I'm about to purchase another for my DiamondBack .308 rifle to sit 30 degrees canted along my Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x40mm scope for quick target acquisition. This is truly a remarkable red dot for a great price. There's literally videos of people torture testing this thing and it still performs. From freezing it in a solid block of ice, throwing it up in the air to let it hit the ground at heights you normally wouldn't even consider, and even shooting it with a shotgun. After all of that, it still worked flawlessly! No wonder I have 2, going on 3 507C's. Money well spent

The Holosun HS507C-X2 is an excellent RDS! It is crystal clear and the “dot/circle“ is bright and super easy to pick up with the eye. Two of my favorite features are the “Shake awake” which wakes up the sight the moment it detects that the weapon has moved and the Solar backup system. The Solar panel doesn’t charge the battery but provides power in the unlikely event the battery craps out. In my opinion this sight is just as good, if not much better than other sights costing much more. I highly recommend it for your personal defense weapon or duty. I use it on both!

The Holosun 507CX2 is a excellent Red Dot sight. This Red Dot is an excellent choice for any pistol that it will accommodate. The glass is clear and zeros very easy and will hold the zero under any circumstance. If you are looking for a capable Red Dot sight that will serve you well for years I would not pass this one up and this red dot also has the shake weight technology.
