Book is perfect for what I needed it for, which was a reference book, as thermodynamics have not changed in the last 10 years, and I don't need the newest edition. But there have been substantial changes in the formatting of the newer books, so don't think you can easily use this in place of a new edition, as they are set up a bit differently. If you only need it for reference, though, then go for it, because its probably a lot chaper.
