Insteon is/was the best!
Insteon is the superior home automation product design. Unfortunately, due to poor management, they recently went bankrupt. Their error was not charging a monthly fee for their cloud service. The products are superior because they support dual-band communication between devices and the controller over both radiofrequency and power line. Competing products only communicate over the power line (X10) or only via radiofrequency (ZWave). Insteon does both and does it in a mesh (peer to peer). This allows communication throughout even large homes. Now that they have gone bankrupt and even Elon Musk is not likely to bail them out, many of us users are buying spare devices. I have 25 devices in my system and have switched to HomeSeer HomeTroller Plus (Windows 10/11 based) to control all of my Insteon devices including Amazon Alexa integration for voice control.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

wonderfully configurable
I've installed about 40 of these in two homes. They work flawlessly - with their hub, over the net, with Alexa, etc. They are also more configurable in odd but useful ways, providing more freedom to install in locations you didn't think possible. It takes a little understanding to figure out how it all works together, but once familiar with it, the flexibility is outstanding. The scenes along with alexa make our home so much more convenient and safe. I've been using them for 3 years now and have not had one single issue with any switch, outlet, hub, sw, etc. And their support folks are very friendly and helpful. Also, the dimming switch shown here, handles dimming of LED lighting very nicely bringing the light levels below the dimmers sold in hardware stores.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Versatile switch that works with LEDs, including dimming
This is a great switch that works properly with LEDs, including dimming. It also works with X10 systems. And, can be programmed to turn on lights that are not wired together. For example I have two sets of lights in our back yard that are on different switches. Now, using this switch, I can turn on all the back yard lights from either switch. And, it does more.
