FM transmitters have improved greatly
I bought this because my hard wired modulator was giving me fits, in addition to the fact that I upgraded devices a while back and didn't need the aux cord dangling and tangling on every vertical object. I googled best bluetooth fm transmitters and Nulaxy FM18 was at the top. I poked around and saw Nulaxy had newer models with better features, so I bought the FM22. Unboxing was simple, setting up was easy and the instructions were concise. The sound quality was just as good as my hard wired unit; the display has a nice blue hue, clear enough in the daylight and softly lit at night. Good but not great
I figured this would be more economical than purchasing a new head unit for my car specially since the car comes with a pretty good Bose system. After a year of using it I've found the sound gets distorted if you turn it up all the way. Also all the prompts, although in english, have an Asian accent. No problem with that, just an FYI. Also, I was expecting the song info to show while playing Bluetooth through my phone, not so much. The sound quality of the phone calls as well as the mike is amazing. I like the convenience of adding a microSD card and that it also has an aux input and you can connect a USB drive all while charging the phone but, it's not a fast charger. The blue lights look nice at night. The display is a little dim during the day and forget about trying to see it with polarized sunglasses. All in all it served its purpose and happy with it, but getting ready to put an all new sound system in the car!

Easy way to rock your favorite music in the older vehicle you love!
This FM transmitter is great! The Bluetooth pairs quickly with my phone, well before I have selected my music of choice. I love the On/Off button to power down; my 12V outlets remain live after the key is removed. The sound quality is great, and there are more features than I will likely ever use. Best Bluetooth sound, instant connection
I’ve used many radio connected iPod and now iPhone Bluetooth devices over the years. This device has crystal clear sound better than any other device I’ve used. On par with CarPlay which I used to own before an accident in my old car. I’m a musician, I take sound very serious but I’m on a budget. I love this device!! Has good and bad...but overall GOOD...
The power switch and connection are awesome. Love the look and swivel head. These have come a long way!
In the past with an older car I physically added an aux input, but with this you don't need to ( thank goodness!). I had one of these FM transmitters when they first came out and it was horrible. Nothing but static. I've been using the Nulaxy now for a couple of weeks and haven't had any issues with static. Also the sound quality is very good. It doesn't have that thin, compressed sound that my old transmitter had that just killed the high and low range. So, it cost 1/4 of the cost of the kit I used to add an aux input, didn't require taking the radio out, and sounds great with no static...so far I'm very pleased and impressed!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
