Unit works well so far, Network administration is a bit confusing for the first time, but gets easier with some use, it is not real easy to navigate, but it is not hard, it has to be learned like most digital mixers, I wish it had a parametric eq feature for the outputs instead of graphs, maybe it does and I haven't found it yet, I have only been able to make it work on a PC, have not been able to get it to render a webpage on an android or I pad yet...little bit frustrated there, probably need to update something. It will pop your speakers on power up and down, so kill the amps, ;you know the routine. Stereo RCA Inputs seem to be locked together, I was hoping to use them interdependently , maybe you can, just have not found the button yet; had to give up two mic inputs for that. Sounds fine so far, hope to use it quite a bit.Read full review

Soundcraft has done a great job with this stagebox mixer. I play drums in a local band and use this for submixing my kit to a signal which is fed to the main band mixer as well as use it for my own personal monitor and recording which incorporates a signal from the main band mix fed back into the Ui and out an AUX. I also use this to mix music and vocal ensembles, special events, etc with my own sound system. I love the flexibility of this mixer's AUX outputs and the ability to configure custom mix views, save shows and use the high quality effects all included. The user interface is nicely laid out and logical and I love that I can connect using iPad, iPhone, Windows and Mac without special software. The built-in ethernet port is also a great feature for the unbeatable connection dependabilty you get with a wire, which is always better than WiFi, whether you connect computers to a network or mixers to a console device. I have used this same type of digital mixer stage box by Mackie (DL16) as well as Allen and Heath (Qu-SB). I consider the quality of the audio to be almost as good as the Allen and Heath but better than the Mackie. I feel that the user interface is better overall on the Soundcraft Ui. I am very happy with Soundcraft Ui and look forward to mixing each performance with it.Read full review

Still learning the mixer. There's a lot to it. The good: remote access. tons of functionality, effects, EQs, feedback suppression works great. Web browser access makes having multiple users easy. The not-so-good: Connectivity through hotspot has been iffy. Working on other alternatives (external router). Hardwired connection works great. Would be nice if there was a beginner setup that newbies could use as a starting point. After an hour of setup and soundcheck, I hit the "snapshot", thinking I was saving, but it returned all my settings to default... ouch... One major problem with the marketing/description: I thought I would be able to use this as a mutlichannel recorder. It only records the two channel main outs, so there is no way to edit individual channels in a DAW after the fact. That's a bummer. But for the price and the options, this is a great entry-level digital mixer. I look forward to getting better with it.Read full review

It's incredible what Soundcraft has packed into this little guy. 31 band EQ on all outputs. Effects, compression, eq on all channels. This is a life saver. I love that you can store and recall settings. This will help us get up and running for shows. Record a 2 channel mix via a thumb drive and a USB playback slot for in between sets. Plus, you can walk the room with your tablet and mix. Amazing!

Default WiFi on product did not work in a crowd. I will try to buy an external router to see if that works better in a crowd. One most important part, even know the WiFi lost connection and I couldn't control the stage box with my iPad, the last setting stayed and the show continued until I got close enough to change settings.
