Although it has plenty of information, it is not the tell all book of rear ends. I needed a book for a particular Posi unit that was under a 67 Tempest with a 4 pinion carrier and there was a brief paragraph about the creator of that carrier but nothing in the book showing how to rebuild or links to information I needed. It will go on the shelf and maybe it will get used one day.

If you can find the 1st edition it might serve you better bang for the buck. This 2nd edition adds the Dana 110 & 135 as well as 2007 and up Jeep Dana 44s. There are axles that should have been added I.e. the jeep Dana 44 hybrids of the early 2000s. The editing was lax this 2nd go round as well. Some specifications were simply annotated with a “?”. This version is 13 years old now and there needs to be a 3rd edition.

Very informational book. So much that this is my third copy because I lent the first two out and they didn't come back.
