Hit or miss but mostly miss.
I purchased this while trying to live a more frugal life thinking I could get by after owning a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus for close to a year. Being cheap has never worked out too well for me and in this case, cheaper is not always better. The charging module has to be placed in just the right position on the wireless charger otherwise it won't work. This was not a problem with my more expensive Galaxy phone. I found myself trying to find the sweet spot more often than not. When it finally did work, it caused my phone to act erratically. The screen would fail to turn off and would act as if it was being touched while it was sitting on my desk. Charging time was pretty standard when it did work, though which does add some value. If you have a thick case, you might not be able to use it at all as use with a case made for more failed attempts than successful charges. If you're looking for a cheap solution to the luxury of more expensive phones ability to wireless charging, you may be better off just getting that phone. This little add on is really not worth the hassle or seemingly low price in comparison to what you can get with the more expensive phones that have the wireless charging standard.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
