Overall , this is a good buy if all you need is a basic burner/player that functions quite well for what it is advertised to do.

Ok for the price
It appears to be pretty cheaply built, but I didn't expect a top of the line unit when I ordered it.. Flimsy plastic sound when cycling the tray, and the SATA power and data plug-in sockets probably would not last through too many removal and installs (appears to be just soldered to the circuit board with no reinforcement by the frame). It wrote the CD and two DVDs (one of which was a re-writable) I have done so far with no problems.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
