I guess I learned a lesson.
I usually buy nothing but Asus Motherboards for the last 14 years without a problem. I was looking for something one day and decided that I had enough components to build another computer. I looked around and found a new AsRock Z170 board at a half decent price It lasted a little more than a year and just died. These boards are getting hard to find cheaply but I found this used board on E-bay. Its working just fine, with zero problems.
