Very Nice Toy!
Playmobil does the USS Enterprise from Star Trek: The Original Series, (TOS). The ship is big, big enough to allow figures on the bridge, and inside the secondary hull, albeit a little cramped. This is not a scale model, but a very well crafted toy version of the famous Starship. The primary hull is a little out of scale, and deeper, to accommodate the bridge and crew. There is a nice electronic package that simulates the engines, photon torpedoes and phaser fire. The forward ends of the engine nacelles are lighted and the famous spinning motion is replicated. The electronics can be controlled with a Bluetooth app on your smartphone. Have fun! Over one hundred colorful decals depic the bridge consoles, and special decals replicate the opening and closing to the turbolift doors onto the bridge, an approaching ship on the main viewer, and some of the mysteries of the engine room. Trekkies of all ages, from kids to the young at heart, will enjoy this toy. As an old Boomer who watched Star Trek back when the show was first on. I say that I love this wonderful toy. The Enterprise toy is something that we could only dream about as kids, never mind the electronics that were almost unimaginable back in the nineteen sixties. The price tag may make you hesitant to purchase, but I purchased mine for about 35% off, and I've seen in chat rooms where people have been able to get almost fifty percent off. So look around for a lower price if you want. Whatever you pay, you'll be pleased. Your Star ship comes with a nice mounting stand for display, or you can hand your Enterprise from the ceiling with a hanging option packaged inside the box. However you choose to display your ship, you'll will like it. I give Playmobil's Starship Enterprise Five Big Stars. It's sturdy enough for the kids, attractive enough for us older Trekkies to display proudly. I've included some photos of the assembly, the ship is big. It fills the couch in my messy man cave. Yorkie supervisor not included.
