Best entry level OLED TV above 60”

This TV come with the new OLED technology allowing individual pixel to turn on and off creating perfect black to allow other colors to standout. It also cones with useful features like 7 different adjustments (Cinema, Sports, Vivid, APS, Dark or Bright Room, HDR) to accommodate type of media you’re watching. In addition, useful features like Smart Web to download streaming apps and option to reduce eye rain are surprisingly attractive. In my opinion, for under above 60” TVs equipped with OLED technology, LG makes it better overall in picture quality, functionality, and features. With he price around $2000-$2,500 on eBay, SONY OLED and Samsung QLED (like OLED but still LED) came only close second and third in all categories mentioned. You might find cheaper price from other brands for bigger size, but I think paying a few hundreds for quality over size is the better choice in the long run.

    lemon

I ordered this TV for my birthday. Because of problems with the TV, it won't accept a signal from the remote's "OK" button (all other buttons work). LG sent me a new remote, which does the same thing. Without the OK button, I can't select or download any apps. In short, the TV is useless. Hopefully, LG will help me take care of this. It's now been 6 weeks since I ordered, and I'm left with a very expensive paperweight.

  • I love this TV

The good: I haven't even viewed any 4 K content yet, but with broadcast TV and streaming videos from you tube via chrome cast, I can't believe the picture quality, both resolution and colors. I watched music videos in my playlist, some of which I've seen hundreds of times before and I saw details and colors I had never realized were there before. I connected the relatively inexpensive LG sound bar and it sounds great, much better than the internal speakers. This is without question THE BEST TV I've ever owned. I just don't see how any TV could have a better picture. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The not so good: I'm not in love with the remote or the menu system but I'm sure in time I'll adjust to them.

  • Excellenet TV

I originally had the last year model, OLED65B6P, which I thought was great.....this model (OLED65B7A) blows that model out of the water. I find the newer version so much more crisp, more detailed and more realistic vs. the previous model. No matter what video content you are watching...the newer version appears to produce a more realistic video whereas last year model would only produce those results with certain video content. If you are contemplating on buying one of these sets....just do it!! Def worth every penny!!!

  • Best TV

We have had this television for for almost 2 1/2 years and it is still perfect. Really a great picture, slim for its size, and easy to use.

  • Best tv I’ve ever seen.

This is by far the best tv I’ve ever seen. Picture quality is amazing. You have to see it to believe it. Audio is surprisingly good, though I have a 7 speaker surround sound. I got it as an open box for a little over $1700 and so far it’s definitely worth it.

  • LG OLED Ultra HD TV or what the wife said ..."BIGGER"

This is a great TV is you want to call it a TV - searched all the net on reviews for newer sets and LG gets the better review's. To a Audio Video purist it's most likely not there pick, but to us "normal folk" it's the Bee's Knees. The OLED is assume, better than LED. Ever since our 54" Sharp bit the dust (was + 10 year old TV) we have wanted something else. We borrowed a TCL 48" to fill the void but it was to small. We sit back about 12 ~ 14 feet from the screen. Our neighbor got the LG 55" OLEG model of this same TV and we had an opportunity to see it. Items I liked about it was...OMG that picture.. its pleasant appearance it's very near edge screen and that it would fit the Audio Video Stand that we have as this LF unit has the Center Post design instead of two end stands which would have forced a rethink on the all black and glass stand ( added cost). To say we were impressed is an understatement. We are now celebrating 30 years of marriage and it was decided that a newer TV would be a good gift (Not my pick but we all know that saying "Happy Wife Happy Life"). After we saw the 55 in an actual room and not a showroom the wife said one word......"bigger". Which leads us to this selection. This Unit or Smart TV as the industry calls it is literally the "cat's pajamas" Now the remote is ok and you can use the LG App on your "smart phone" but I don't have one of those. So using the remote will take sometime, it can control a variety of set top box's to reduce your " remote clutter" that happens but it still will not keep it so that remote don't get lost in the couch cushions. Overall we are well pleased with this Smart TV and the main item is she actually sat down and watched her "Prime and Youtube" channels the other night. "Oh Happy Day"..... Also the delivery of this unit was on a wooden short pallet which surprised me. All to the good of course.

  • Great for everything but cable

Took quite a bit of time dialing in the display options to get the picture to its finest appearance. 4k oled via Netflix and YouTube looks amazing however 4k feeds from cable providers barely exists (3 'channels' from DirecTV that they will charge you extra to receive). Be sure to check your connections to your audio system, you might need a converter.

  • Great TV

Fantastic picture, fantastic value. Think about getting a separate player like an Nvidia Shield. The onboard apps and wifi can't always keep up with 4k content.

  • This is worth every penny !

The difference between this OLED vs QLED is the realistic color and contrast of light. Brighter isn’t always better. It’s the detail in imaging that really matters most. That’s why we chose the QLED.
