The Mechanoids is truly one of the better RIFTs products. When run by a good GM you feel like your facing off against Arnold and SkyNet without any Plasma weaponry, and your last name isn't Conner. The only bad point is that the book itself doesn't easily spread out into other aspects of the RIFTs world/universe. A trait that is sadly common with most of the product line. Still a good GM can take the idea and trun with it for the basis of a long campaign run. I heartily recommend it.
