Excellent cookbook for a beginning cook.
Although this book is out of print it is an excellent book for new inexperienced cooks..Covers all the basics well. There are many recipe books with great recipes but not many that cover the basics as well as this one. It's not just recipes, it's information about the best way to cook meats, vegetables, soups, stews. There is information about temperatures, pans, what to keep in the pantry.
