A good introductory train for the serious novice.
Pros: Instant track setup. Beautiful engine and cars. Bell sound is a nice touch as are the silhouettes in the passenger cars. Control via remote or smartphone is easy. Idle and low speed 'chuffing' are nice. The sound controls are nice, allowing you control of individual sound, volumed and even the pitch of the bell and whistle. Age recommendation of 14+ is spot on for setup of engine and cars. Cons: Train whistle is not all all steam-engineish and very cartoonish. 'Chuffing' at medium and high speeds gets out of synch with actual speed of locomotive, becoming more of an annoying hiss (easy to turn off that sound)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
