I bought this as a replacement mouse for my combination wireless mouse and keyboard. The mouse on my original setup quit working, but the keyboard was OK. Instead of spending another $25 for the whole set, I bought this mouse by itself. Of course, now I need two USB ports for the transmitters, but the price is right and very inexpensive. It works OK for my Linux laptop. For the price I paid, it works quite well.

The mouse came with no instructions...no paperwork at all actually. It has a cool feature in that the usb receiver is in the bottom of the mouse itself. It's very small, and doesn't appear to be a comfortable mouse. That being said, it was literally less than $10. As long as you're not putting in tons of screen time using this mouse, I think it's a good value for the cost.

Unit has features that I didn't expect, an example is that the device shuts off when not being used to conserve the battery.

Definitely a good deal...working perfectly. Hoping it will continue to work perfectly for a long time! I didn't realize it had the forward and backward buttons on the side and the button to change the number of lines when using the mouse wheel...nice extra features!

This is a good generic mouse. It's well designed, optical, and wireless. You don't need to shell out the big bucks to get a more expensive (but equally-purposed) one, like Logitech or Microsoft. This one will do the same job, and even better; it turns itself off after hours of no use to conserve battery!
