No to hang ornaments on it, just to display on its own.
It is a beautiful tree, but if you hang ornaments it bends and falls down. We secured the base with a bigger baseboard, but the trunk of tree bent itself and the branches bend as it were a willow so, I had to secure it with some ropes attached to nearby furniture. All and all I recommend this tree to be used by itself with no ornaments on it. It looks sturdy and strong, but it s not. Like I said before, very pretty, not strong to hold ornaments.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
